National Politics

    • Free because of a Free Press

This month’s article may seem somewhat redundant to some of the articles in the past. We will once again trumpet the need for a free and vibrant press and our fears that the current occupant of the White House wishes to do away with an unfettered First Amendment. We fear that our message will run stale, as will the constant need for the national press to point out the faux pa ...

    • Broken Dreams

Our country is broken and it will never be the same again. Why do we say that? It is undisputed by 16 intelligence agencies that the Russians interfered with our presidential election of 2016. Our President refuses to acknowledge this fact. He never has asked the FBI director a question on this subject and has never been briefed on the matter. Yet, those that support him do not blink an eye.

    • The Liar in Chief

For the many years that we have been writing this column, we have focused our attention on the First Amendment; whether that be Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, Freedom of Association, Freedom of Religion or Freedom of Assembly. • Not the New Normal

… draining the government of these professionals has left a void in manpower and experience. To Donald Trump, Washington was a swamp. Only by draining it and then restocking it with his own brand of amphibians and reptiles could the swamp be cleansed. However, what he views as a cleaning is simply replacing alligators with crocodiles, frogs with toads…

  • American Press not Trump’s Pravda

… Over the many years that we have been writing this article, when election time comes we normally have at least one, if not several articles written about how our elections are dependent upon the First Amendment. We usually muse that because of the First Amendment politicians are free to say what they want, whether true…

  • Citizens Unite Against Citizens United

… Benjamin, Aaronson, Edinger & Patanzo, P.A. - If you listened or watched the Democratic debate in mid-October and contrasted it with the two Republican debates that had already been held, an independent observer would have had to have come to the conclusion that the Republican debates were… The post Citizens Unite Against Citizens United…
