Mobile Apps Blamed in Biggest Traffic Death Spike in 50 years

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released updated figures in the fall for U.S. car accident deaths. In 2015, there were 35,092 crash-related deaths throughout the country. This is a significant increase from the 32,744 fatalities in 2014. Authorities believe the jump in crash-related deaths may be related to the rising use of apps on drivers’ cell phones.Read the full article
