Blogging for Lawyers - How to Start and Publish a Blog

I hear a lot from lawyers "I want to start a blog but I just don't have time." No one has time. You know how people end up writing blogs? They make time. I blog every week because I set aside time to do so. Some of my keys to starting a law blog and consistently coming up with new content: 1. Schedule time for it - this is blog writing time, not meeting time. If you do not set aside time for blogging (which is probably not your top priority), you will never get it done. 2. Minimize distractions - put your phone on silent, turn off email notifications. Any distractions that take you away from writing will make it difficult for you to maintain a writing rhythm. 3. Use Hemingway App (a free tool) to help you edit. 4. Spend some blogging sessions just on coming up with new post ideas for the future.
